A lingering smoke smell usually means creosote has built up or the draft is pulling poorly. A sweep clears the flue, and we test the draft during the same visit.
A full inspection with photographs shows you the exact condition of the chimney before the deal closes.
Those marks mean water is finding its way past the crown, flashing, or masonry. We locate the source and seal it.
A properly sized cap with a screen stops birds, squirrels, debris, and rain from getting into the flue permanently.
Extended drying cycles almost always point to a vent packed with lint, which is also a serious fire hazard.
Failing gaskets or a clogged stovepipe allow smoke to escape. We clean the pipe and replace the seals.
How it works

Your technician spreads drop cloths from the entryway to the hearth and seals off the fireplace opening before any work begins.
Before we pack up, you get a written summary with photographs of the flue and anything to keep an eye on.
Dear neighbor,
My grandfather began cleaning chimneys in Chicago with a pickup, a set of rods, and a rule that every hearth had to be cleaner when he left than when he arrived. That is still how we operate.
When you call, you speak with our family, not a dispatch center, and the technician at your door is someone we trained ourselves. Our name goes on every job.

What the neighbors say
“The technician went through every picture in the report and explained clearly what could hold off until spring.”
“They draped coverings from the front entrance to the hearth. You would never guess someone had just cleaned the chimney.”
“They spotted a cracked flue tile the previous company overlooked, showed me the images, and laid out my options without pushing anything.”
